Midwife-led Childbirth Education

Your course will include evidence-based information about pregnancy, labor and birth. 

 

We will work either as a group or individually to develop the tools you need to labor and birth in the way that empowers you.  We will address your fears and concerns and answer all your questions so that you and your birth team feel powerful and ready for labor.

The curriculum is informed by my years of experience with labor and birth and also by various methods of natural childbirth education including the Bradley Method, Hypnobirthing, Birthing from Within, Spinning Babies and Centering Pregnancy.

We believe that coming together and sharing your pregnancy and parenting experience will help you create a supportive and powerful local community.  This community will serve you well throughout your pregnancy and as you journey through parenthood.

We will consider the reality of life after baby arrives. 

 

We will help you name your priorities, think through the logistics of feeding your baby,  discuss mental health concerns, consider the expectations of your support system and shape your goals for time management.  We respect how all of this collides in joy and chaos!  We will give you tools to help smooth your transition and your community will be there to support you when you have rough days.
